Crack Eraser Pro Int'l October 2012 NewsletterWindshield Repair Kits.net
October Newsletter Hello Windshield Repair Kit Customers. We are offering a 10% discount on all orders in October. We are going into our 13th year of business and we are very pleased with the customers and friends we have been blessed to work with over the years. I could use some input on what topics you would be interested in having me cover and how to improve the website and our customer service. Please email me and let me know how you are doing with your business and how we can serve you better. Cold Weather Repairs: Here in Colorado we are getting our first snow of the year so I wanted to cover cold weather repairing for thosen of you with businesses in cold climates. You may get a satisfactory repair when it is cold; however, you will get a better, faster repair if you warm the windshield up prior to beginning the work. The best way to wasrtm ther glsss is to use the defrosters and run them until the windshield gets warm to the touch. Do not overheat the glass because it may cause the damage to spread. This is especially true if there is snow on the top of the roof that can run down onto the windshield after it is warm, so make sure to clear the snow off the top of the vehicle. You also need to check for moisture in the damage before you perform the repair. You can do this by looking at an angle; if the legs of the break mostly disappear at an angle, especially at the tip, you may need to let the repair dry out first. There are some dry-out solutions you may try but I have not had very good luck with them. One time I get a good repair and the next I do not, so in our shops in Colorado we wait until the repair is dry. Since we set up at convenient commercial locations, we feel we can get the customer back in for the repair on their next trip. If you do not believe you will get the customer back you may feel you need to perform the repair with some moisture in it. Just remember you may have a failure of the repair later. I want to take a minute to thank all of our customers for their business, we appreciate all of you. For the month of October we are offering a 10% discount on all your orders. Please email me at support@windshieldrepairkits.net, or use our blog, with any questions on our products or with any sugestions you have for the web site. Our goal is to improve our web site and customer service. Best Regards, Tim Evans www.windshieldrepairkits.net email support@windshieldrepairkits.net 719-331-5966 |
